Mystery Bag Minis
Size: 1.5-2 inches
Distribution: Worldwide
Manufacturer: Spin Master (2020-2021)
Complete set: Yes 19/19 (wave 1), 20/20 (wave 2), 20/20 (wave 3), 17/17 (wave 4)
A lot of these dragons are just the same models but with different plastic, which is typical of Spin Master. I'm also not a massive fan of clear plastic because I find it kind of tacky. However it works amazingly on Light Fury, because she really looks invisible! Also there are some interesting new dragons, like the titan forms. I also like how these come with a checklist, so this time we know exactly how many are in the set! Waves 2 and 3 are much better in my opinion, with some older species getting some love and more titans! I honestly can't express how happy I was to get a new Red Death figure! Wave 4 is sadly largely repeats, but the new Night Lights are pretty cute! Wave 4 got released with both Legends Evolved and Dragons Revealed bags, but the codes on the bags and the figures are identical.

Evolution Sets
Size: 1.5-3 inches
Distribution: Worldwide
Manufacturer: Spin Master (2020)
Complete set: Yes 4/4
Ok, I love these. Yes, the smaller mini figures are re-used models, but these packs are actually amazing for their price. For ten quid you get a small mini figure (Hookfang and Meatlug come with nice new paint jobs), a dragon class token, a really nice and solid dragon egg, and an amazing larger figure! The larger figures are beautifully sculpted. I believe these sets are meant to be a dragon's life cycle - the egg, the baby, and the adult. Hookfang of course looks completely amazing and is the best of the lot. Look at those fierce horns and wings! And those beautiful tiger stripes!! I also especially love when figures put Hookfang in his proper bat-pose and not bipedal.

Mini Dragons - Boxed
Size: 1.5-3 inches, 12 inches (store box)
Distribution: Worldwide
Manufacturer: Spin Master (2020)
Complete set: Yes 11/11 (original figures), 4/4 (new boxes)
Ah Spin Master. You make a new set of mini figures, so of course that means half of them are just re-used models. I do like the new packaging though, the proper square box is very snazzy and will look very nice lined up, so I'm actually going to keep them. I like that the dragons come with little "tokens" with their class logo as well.
Interestingly, a couple of crossbreed dragons return for this set - I wonder if that will become a regular thing? Just like the egg plush, the dragons are the "Rumbling Gutbuster" and the "Deadly Galewind". After I got the dragon eggs, I did some more research because I just didn't buy the dragons that supposedly made up these crossbreeds. Turns out that in the game, the Gutbuster is actually called the "Brooding Boltstamper" and is half Rumblehorn, half Skrill. The Galewind is actually the "Deathly Galeslash" and is half Deadly Nadder and half Stormcutter. These make much more sense, and these crossbreeds actually do look like both of these parent species. However Spin Master has given them these new names for some reason (likely due to copyright issues), so that's what I'll be sticking with.
Spin Master snuck out a second wave without anyone realising. But a close friend in Canada found them, and was able to get them all for me! I'm SO grateful for this, because it includes a weird grandpa Crimson Goregutter, and an amazingly adorable Cloudjumper with a brand new model! A couple of figures also got re-released with new boxes; Toothless (Pouncing), Stormfly, and Light Fury got new boxes with stats on the top, and the Deadly Galewind got a new blue box and a strike class token(?!).
As a nice cherry on the cake, I also have the store display box. Some of these came with Stoker class tokens attached (always the same one), but not all did! None in my country did. Sure, I had to buy an empty cardboard box, but it's super cool to have the special store token!

New Boxes
Mini Dragons - Bagged
Size: 1.5-3 inches
Distribution: Worldwide
Manufacturer: Spin Master (2020)
Complete set: Yes 8/8
Oh God, here we go again. A set of mini figures and ALL are identical, or very similar, to previous figures. Goddammit, Spin Master. This is getting ridiculous. Racing Toothless didn't even appear in Hidden World, so why is he in this set? Okay he didn't appear in HTTYD2 either but whatever. The two figures who are slightly different are my two favourites which is lucky for me! The wild Monstrous Nightmare has a prominent light green tummy which the HTTYD2 one didn't have, and the Light Fury is pearly-metallic and her bioluminescent markings also react to temperature and turn pink. Man, what a weird mishmash of previous sets.

Mystery Dragon Box
Size: 8 inches (box), 1.5 inches (figures)
Distribution: Worldwide
Manufacturer: Spin Master (2020)
This box is not really a mystery, it just has that name because that's what the figures are called. This box always contains the same 10 dragons - it's meant to be a starter kit of sorts, which guarantees all the main dragons (um, except Belch and Barf). Some of these figures are just repeats, but some are unique. See my Mystery Mini Guide page for more information!

Rescue Riders Mini Dragons
Size: 1.5-3 inches
Distribution: Worldwide
Manufacturer: Spin Master (2020)
I bought a set of Legends Evolved mini dragons, and a couple of these got sent with them because they were also released with Legends Evolved. I decided to keep them because I'm a sucker for mini figures. I got the totally-not-a-Gronckle dragon, and a really cute bird-like one. I like him a lot, and I've called him Sparrow, because that's what he looks like to me! I don't care what his actual name is. As I don't collect RR, I don't aim to get the whole set and consider these a bonus.
