FYC Triple Disc CD
Size: 5.5 inches
Distribution: US only
Manufacturer: DWA Awards (2010)
At last, I finally have the set! This CD set is surprisingly un-special (discs 1 & 2 are the exact same as the double disc set, and disc 3 is just the song), but also surprisingly expensive. It's also the rarer of the three, so I suppose it does have status to boast. I love it all the same though, and its rarity sure gives it a special place in my collection!

FYC Double Disc CD

Manufacturer: DWA Screenings (2010)
This little gem escaped my grasp for so long. It would appear, I would never fully commit on eBay (because of its high ending price), and lose it. But then enough, I said! No more shall I lose this beauty to the hands of someone else! So I bit the bullet and paid its ridiculous price tag, making it the third most expensive thing in my collection to date.
This CD set is incredibly sought after, and for good reason. It contains the entire instrumental track to the film, with music that can't be found on the store-bought CD. The only thing it's missing is the song from the credits, though that IS on the store CD so it doesn't really matter.
Like many of the CDs and DVDs here, this was actually only available to those judging for the Academy Awards, though many have slipped through the cracks onto the internet since. It means they're very limited in availability though.

Screening Invitations
Size: 11 inches
Distribution: US only
Manufacturer: DWA Awards (2010)
This is, I'm pretty sure, the last item related to the HTTYD Oscars that I needed! I'm pretty sure I have every item now! This is a super cool item, too. These were mailed out to members of the DGA (Directors Guild of America). Not just anyone can be a member; you have to pay a hefty initiation fee to join (up to $13,000!), and you have to provide evidence that you've directed or produced several movies or TV series. During Oscar season, DreamWorks invited members to special screenings of HTTYD, presumably to try and advertise and persuade people to vote for them. There's both a letter and a card booklet that serve as these invitations. Oddly enough, I got the original envelopes too! These had the original recipient's details on them, so I've blurred out the address. But I've left the name because you can see that these were originally sent to Roland Joffe, who is indeed a director and a producer! This is a super cool set of rare and unique items indeed!

83rd Oscars Program
Size: 8.6 inches
Distribution: US only
Manufacturer: Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (2011)
Unlike the press book, which is only about HTTYD, this program is about all the films nominated for an Academy Award. HTTYD is only mentioned twice and has no pictures, sadly. But, it is still HTTYD related!

Hollywood Reporter Magazine Article
Size: 13 inches
Distribution: US only
Manufacturer: Hollywood Reporter (2011)
I actually bought this by accident when I got a little too bid-happy on some auctions, but what a happy accident!
It was released to coincide with the Academy Awards ("Anatomy of a Contender") so on this page it goes!
